The Ashanti Central Ghana Conference (ASCG) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church was formed through a reorganization of the South Central Ghana Conference in 2014 and officially granted conference status in 2015, with subsequent adjustments to its territorial districts. Beginning as an Administrative Unit, it progressed through inspections, elections, and inaugurations, leading to the establishment of a full conference structure with officers, departmental directors, and committees. Over the years, ASCG has expanded its districts, strengthened its administrative systems, constructed a modern office complex at Yennyawoso-Anyarno, and held three major sessions (2015, 2019, and 2024) to elect leaders and review its progress. Today, the Conference, headquartered in the Ashanti Region and serving key districts including Ashtown, New Tafo, Kenyasi, Effiduase, and Juaben, is led by President Pr. Jonathan Owusu and a team of officers, directors, and executive committee members dedicated to advancing its mission and supporting the spiritual, administrative, and developmental growth of the church within its territory.
